Who's being the Terrorist now?

Who has the right to call people names and falsely judge a person, when they don't even know the person themselves and won't even give them the time of day to just look past the surface?
Here's the first really friggen scary point. Sorry, its true whether you choose to believe it or not.
We are down to the last few weeks (not even) until the Election, and all McCain can seem to still do now, is try to tear Barack apart.
Won't watch this video? Fine. but its just because you don't want your candidate proven wrong. The hate spoken from their mouths is Sickening.
It does not appear professional, and it just shows how desperate you are to win your votes.
What McCain seems to get through his mind is that every American is trembling in fear of a man with even a SLIGHT appearance or name that has been known in the middle east. But what his party dosent seem to get, is that at the same time there are still Americans that can look past it and vote for a guy with common sense.
(watch the video below)

Oh yes. "Barack Hussein Obama". Definitely a Terrorist.
He has the middle name of a terrorist, so surely he must be one.
Let's take a look at what a normal, happy American family looks like and what a Terrorist looks like.

Oh, that's a perfect portrait of a normal family.
The parents look happy, Smiles on all of their faces, Children hugging the parents...

Holy Crap!!!.....
oh...hmm... looks about the same, right?

Let's see. There has to be some proof here somewhere...

Yes. now this is a loving mother/son moment, a terrorists mother could never hold in her arms.

Dammit, where's the turbans!!!?

But oh well....as long as you want to judge a man by his name, feel free to go right ahead and do that.

But then again- My middle name is Teisha, so like most people who have never met me before, think- with a name like Teisha, she must surely be a black girl ;)

And might I add-- if it is true that a Terrorist is an angry person with hate towards another...
Who has shown more hatred towards the other during this campaign/debate trail?

You ponder that one for a while.

No Candidate Has Ever Lost with Obama’s Lead Over McCain

ABC News' George Stephanopoulos reports:

The presidential election is now just 22 days away, and Barack Obama is leading John McCain by a whopping 53 percent to 43 percent according to the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll.

No candidate has ever lost with a lead like this since modern polling began in 1936.

Americans are in a very angry mood right now and that is helping Obama.

A record high of 90 percent of the country believes we're going in the wrong direction right now.

A vast majority of the nation, 73 percent of the country, disapproves of the job President George W. Bush is doing. No president has ever had a higher disapproval rating, not even President Richard Nixon at the height of Watergate.

Obama leads McCain 53 percent to 37 percent when it comes to the candidate voters trust to handle the nation's struggling economy, according to the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll.

Obama's 10-point lead puts him on solid ground with three weeks to go before Election Day. To put this in perspective, three weeks before the 2004 election President George W. Bush has 50 percent support and Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., had 46 percent, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll released on Oct. 10, 2004.

However, ultimately the 2004 election results were Bush 51 percent and Kerry 48 percent.

Some presidential candidates have closed the gap in the weeks leading up to Election Day, including Al Gore in 2000, Gerald Ford closed the gap against Jimmy Carter in 1976, and in 1980 Ronald Reagan overcame an eight point deficit to defeat Jimmy Carter. At that time it was Carter who was the unpopular president with a sour economy.

However this time, it's McCain's party with the unpopular president governing over the worst economic crisis to hit the nation since the Great Depression.

With three weeks to go before the election, McCain has an uphill battle. There are also signs that his campaign's more aggressive attacks against Obama have backfired.

A majority of Americans believe McCain is mainly attacking opponent 59 percent versus only 26 percent who say that about Obama, according to the latest ABC/Post poll.

Have You you registered to Vote?

Barack recently sent out the following email...

You'd be surprised by how many people you know who aren't registered to vote.

Registration deadlines are coming up soon, and we need every single vote we can get to win this election.

Tell your friends, family, and neighbors to check out our new one-stop voter registration website.

Just forward this message.

VoteforChange. com makes it easier than ever to register. Instead of tracking down the right forms, all you need to do is answer a few basic questions and you'll be ready to vote. You can also:

-- Confirm your existing registration

-- Apply to vote absentee

-- Find your polling place

If you don't know your own registration status or you'd like to learn more, take a minute to visit the site right now.

This race is too close and too important to stay home on Election Day.

If you take the time to register and vote -- and make sure everyone you know is registered as well -- we'll be able to turn the tide of the past eight years.

It's people just like you who will transform this nation.

Thanks,

Barack

To John McCain Supporters

Coming from myself, and no one else.
I just really want to know. Please! Because i must be totally missing something.
Just leave a message with your answer as to why on earth you are voting for McCain.

HOW can people look around these days and see people who can't find work, are watching gas prices skyrocket again and say that they want to elect John McCain? AND while knowing this guy agrees with President Bush on all his decisions hes made?
People, i mean, understand that we all have our own choice--
But are you looking around and seeing our Economy fall apart?

I have friends and family , perhaps even you, who are sick and can't afford to go to the hospital because they cant afford health insurance, yet very few of them are STILL voting for a Repbulican.
Guys, im not attacking you personally, but you need to open your eyes.
Election time is coming very soon and I'm afraid people have not been listening.

Sure, some of you may have a job now, but what if things get worse and you lose your job? What are you going to do for work now?
The economy is not getting any stronger, and this is perhaps a big possibility.

I watched today as McCain had won over another state and it just turned my whole afternoon upside down.
John McCain has already claimed that we don't need Change to this Country but more experience in the White house.
PEOPLE, Something is definitely happening in the White House, but it is NOT Change!

Just recently he delivered the "We will bring the change that we need"
line... Now claiming we actually DO need change! (and using Obamas campaign lines, i might add)

I have heard nothing but wasteful excuses coming from this guy and with an attitude that he has all the Power, and is against everything that would save the American people money.

As I have said before.
Please don't vote because your parents or someone else in your family is trying to convince you to vote. You do not have very long left to pick the man that is going to be leading your country for another 4-8 years.

Do all the research and watch campaigns (they are very interesting) you can on these two candidates.

It could seriously change your life.

In all honesty, McCain just-- scares me.

So please, Send a reply to this and tell me Why or Why you are NOT voting for John McCain.

Thankyou,
Teisha.

Experience and Smears

Quoted from myspace. com/backbarack
"Earlier on in this race, McCain talked a lot about experience, and how important it is. So let's talk about experience.
Specifically, the total number of years of experience each team has had on either the state or federal level: John McCain has approximately 26 years experience as a congressman, while Sarah Palin has about 2 (two) years experience being the Governor of Alaska, which gives their ticket a total of 28 years of experience.
Barack Obama has approximately 12 years experience as a State and U.S. Senator, while Joseph Biden has 36 years experience being a U.S. Senator, which gives their ticket a grand total of 48 years of experience on either a state or federal level.
So if experience is as important as McCain has stated, then which team is the most qualified to run this country? And even more so, because of McCain's age, voting for him could well mean that you would really be voting for Sarah Palin, who actually has less than 2 years total experience on a state or federal level.
As great
of a person as she may be, I must ask: Is she really qualified to run this country?"

I know that with Palin being the new V.P. to McCain, it is helping his approval ratings BIG TIME to women voters.
I think her reason for bringing in alot of those votes are for her anti-abortion
belie
fs.
Ok, I can agree with you there. Im not a huge fan of supporting abortion, but are we really gonna give the McCain/Palin side the vote because of a 'no abortion' rule?
Voters, we have so much more to worry about, and our Country is falling to pieces that we need to fix, that McCain has no ultimate plans in changing.

Think about this:
We are against killing unborn children, but we are willing to send them over as adults to lose their lives overseas?
and looking over the past few years-- for what?
(thank you to a friend for that thought)

The Smears:

I know that anyone who has been watching the campaign trails have seen the cutesy examples from Palin. Sigh. Here we go...
"You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig"
Honestly.

"All they (McCain/Palin) want to talk about is Britney, Paris, and lipstick.
They will use any tactic and pay any amount of money to avoid how they will move America.
These are serious times and it requires a serious debate"
-quote from Barack Obama

More soon.

Who does Your future belong to?

I believe that NOW is the time we get serious about who will be our next leader. With all the problems we have going on in the economy, and people such as myself who are trying to make a living as a young adult-- this is just not happening. If we can't fill up our tanks because of high gas prices, then we can't drive ourselves to work, and if we dont work, then we can't even afford to live in our own houses.

This is not the "American Dream" we hear that we are supposedly living.

I believe Barack Obama to be a great change for the country. He understands the struggles that the Middle Class people are going through, and wants to bring change to those areas. He is the only candidate that I have been able to connect with, and feel I can listen to as a regular human being who does not think he is above anyone else. He listens with sincerity and plans out ways that will be the most realistic way to bring this change about.

There are many republicans who say that "He has no experience, so how does he think he can run the White House?" It clearly does not take just experience. It takes knowledge and good judgement.

Now is more of an important time than ever to really get serious about who you want to run the country. Its YOUR future, and it is in THEIR hands. And I dont think I can afford to elect a man who is in the same party, and has the same plans as our current president. With Obama being called "a risk" by some because of lack of experience, and with how low our Country has come in the past couple of years..... Im willing to take that "risk".

Its time to stop looking at the outward fluff and the phoniness thats delivered and listen to the words coming out of their mouths, apply it to your life and how that will impact your own future.
VOTE because you are serious about who can do the job right. Do not vote because your family or friends are pressuring you one way. Be your Own voice!
If you have not registered to vote yet, Please do so. Every vote counts! Register at

I Shot the-- Performance?

As much as I haven't been into watching American Idol since Season 5... I will say I've formed quite an attachment to Jason Castro this season.
Which is why I was disappointed to see him get voted off from the Top 4 the other night.
He's different, his style of music is different (some might say it's too slow), and always important-- hes just a happy guy and seems to just like to have fun without all the "fluff".

One of his last performances on the show 'I shot the Sheriff'...
Simons comment on it "The arrangement was atrocious... The performance and the singing were as bad as ive ever heard. That is a song that should not be touched"

I found his performance to be fun. I thought the arrangements with the horns were great, and he also connected well with the audience.
I will agree that his voice seemed a bit weak for it and his pitch gotta a little strange in some areas, but if I was standing in the audience, I would have had a great time getting right into it.

But the judges can only ever think "Well, you'll never be as good as Bob Marley, or Whitney Houston, so why are you trying to sing it?"
Well, maybe they're not... but they're gonna try!
he did. he "failed". thats life. 50/50.
